Good to know

What is a Light Party?

It is a bright, fun alternative to Halloween. The focus is bright, joyful fun rather than anything scary: games, costumes, treats and a great atmosphere, put on by Liberty Kids at Liberty Church Maidstone.

Do I have to stay with my child?

Parents and guardians are very welcome to stay, and there is a dedicated seating and refreshments area.

Is it really free?

Yes. Entry, snacks, drinks and treats are all free. We just ask you to book so we know you are coming.

What age is it for?

Children from 3 years old up to School Year 6. Brothers and sisters are welcome, just add each child when you book.

Who looks after the children?

The Liberty Kids team.

Do we need a costume?

Children are welcome to come as a superhero or dressed in something space-themed, but it is not a requirement.

Can I come if we have never been to Liberty before?

Absolutely. This evening is for everyone in Maidstone, whether or not you have ever been to church.

Planning your Visit

A Warm Hello

The following information is specifically for those planning a visit, so that you know, beforehand, what to expect on a Sunday morning.

Where and When

We meet at St Augustine's Academy on Oakwood Road in Maidstone (Map details here) for our Sunday Experiences which start at 10am. For your first visit, why not arrive 10-15 minutes early to give you time to find a parking space, get any children registered (details here) and find somewhere to sit before the experience begins.
When you arrive, you will be greeted with a smile and a welcome bag by our Frontline Team who will be wearing a How Can I Help lanyard.

After the experience, join us for a cup of tea or coffee, it's a great way to get to know some of the amazing people that call Liberty Church home. All refreshments are free.

Accessibility: There is wheelchair access and accessible toilets.
